(Use a quote of some kind that you find inspiring and begin with this) Something pretaining to its not how you start but how you finish.

My journey, has been filled with failures, and triumphs from the moment I was born. Being born to teenage parents, contributed to many disadvantages.  Despite the fact that they were ill prepared financially and mentally to raise a child, I was afforded the opportunity to attend a private school where I received an excellent education. I rewarded their efforts by maintaining good grades, from Primary to Junior and now Senior High School.

The Sciences have always been a fascination of mine. Because of this I have spent many hours on the computer gathering information and watching documentaries as my way of fueling the passion I have for physics and chemistry. However, it wasn’t until my 10th grade year did I realized that my passion was also for Computers.  I find computers fascinating because _____________________________________________

(Start here) In the eleventh grade, I faced a truly life-changing event. I lost my longest and dearest friend to cancer. He had always supported me in my endeavors, as well as my dreams of becoming a computer engineer/computer scientist. Although I was broken and desolate, I was determined to preserver, not only for me but for him as well. His story, is one that has filled me with inspiration to keep going.

The following summer, I had the pleasure of interning at a communications company. There I was mentored by an engineer, who taught me the key principles of engineering. Due to my ability to understand and retain complex instructions, I was mentored by an industry professional. I also had the opportunity to work on some of his bigger more engaging projects.  Throughout this experience, my passion for computers has grown even stronger.

Whether I am installing radio systems in ambulances or running errands on foot to the local bank, my work ethic is the same.  I am positive and believe in doing things whole souled. With this enriching experience I was able to take with me a few valuable lessons.  ”Mr. Brennen, you have a bright future ahead of you, remember everything that you have learnt here and to never change who you are.” These words stuck with me and I have used them inspiration when I feel tired and want to give up.

Upon entering twelfth grade, my dreams have expanded.   I have dreams of starting a movement of young innovators who are computer orientated. I wish to instill the same focus, drive and principles that this prestigious institution (what institution is that) would have instilled in me. Although there may be some financial obstacles with obtaining a college degree, the dream to achieve a Masters in ___________________ or a BA in ___________ is very much alive. Consequently, I Tejari Brennen, I am determined to strive for excellence in all of my endeavors and to bring Honor and Glory to this Institution as well as my Country
